2011 Senior Model-Rep Winter Shootout........

Start your Senior Portrait session before summer with a winter scene shoot. We have some great area on-locations lined up. Bring your snow board, long scarves, furry hats and coats, skis, what ever you can think of. Earn free portrait prints, and even cash by representing our studio.

We have begun the process of lining up our Studio Model Team for next summer. If you are comfortable in front of a camera and feel you think you would make a good model and rep for our studio by representing us to your friends ( while earning bonuses and cash ) just fill out the form by clicking "MODEL REP TEAM APPLICATION" to the right under "My Links".

These offerings fill up fast and we shoot your Rep Portfolio early in the year. We are looking for those who are juniors now and will be seniors in the fall of 2010. We are looking for reps if you are a student at Antigo, Wittenberg, White Lake and Birnamwood high schools. Models will be asked to sign a model release and will need to be approved by a parent or guardian. As usual, you can always call to find out more details. Have fun!

Looking forward to Summer 2010

Hey Gang......This summer was a great year for Senior Portrait Sessions and I had such a fun time with the dozens of seniors that we had sessions with! I feel so blessed with each and every one that they chose us to have this time in their lives preserved with portraits they will fondly look back on many years later.

Seniors of 2011......Exciting Things are Coming!

Summer has peaked and fall is starting to take hold. What a great Senior Portrait year! And it's all because of the fantastic seniors I have been blessed to photograph. Plans already have been made for next year that will rock the NorthWoods of... Wisconsin, starting with a convention I am attending in California. Bookings will go fast in spring 2010.....can't say much more, but it's nation wide!

Senior High Portrait Sessions.........

.....are in Full swing with August being very full. So far I have had a lot of fun with the seniors and capturing some creative images with them! They have so much to offer and add a lot of artistic ideas to their shoots.

Miranda is one of our sports Senior Model Team members, and this week we had our action shoot together. She really gets some AIR and had an outstanding year competing! She did a great job modeling and setting up our shots together for the capture session we had for the sports shoot. Soon to come will be samples of our summer senior shoot. We have a host ideas we would like to do.

School's out and its time to start shooting! We have lined up our high school senior reps for this school year and am really looking forward to setting up their portrait profiles. Amanda, one of our reps had her first shoot with us and this is her rep card. She was really FUN to work with, and photographed so NICE! If you see her, tell her you saw some of her modeling shots. SENIOR HIGH SHOOTS are APPROACHING FAST! TIME TO GET FIRED UP!

Spring is ALMOST here, even though we had a covering of snow this morning. Your Junior year of high school is coming to a conclusion fast. Summer vacation will breeze on by and before you know it you will be in your final year of high school. Now is time to start lining up and booking your Senior High Portrait session.

This year we have kicked it up a notch and offering more options with our Web Site and our On-line Viewing and Ordering pages.

We are still looking for a few senior gals and guys to be our Studio Ambassadors and reps for your high school, especially Antigo, Bowler, Wittenberg, White Lake areas.

If you are interested, or know of a friend that would be a great rep, contact us and find out the special discounts you receive for helping promote our services. (Oh, and did I say earn cash?)

SQUASH-OUT SMOKING campaign.......

DJHones Photography is looking for some high school juniors who would like to be a pictoral model as well as a fitness model for some posters we are putting together highlighting the negative effects of smoking. We need at least a guy and gal from each high school in the Antigo, Birnamwood, Bowler, Wittenberg area. Contact us if you or a friend you know would fit in our campaign. The posters we create will be distrubuted all thougout the area. More info to come.

Kammerchor Choir Concert

Peace Lutheran had the honor of hosting Concordia University's Kammershor Choir this past Saturday evening for a concert, with Peace Lutheran's own Children Choir joining them in a song written to unite both groups. The choir also led the congreation's hymms for the 10:30am service. The director was Dr. Kenneth Koshe, who will be retiring this year. It has been twenty years since the choir last sang in Antigo.

Wausau East Christian Concert via 89Q Radio!

What a night! Last September I had the chance to photograph the concert sponsored by 89Q Radio Station put on at Wausau East High School. It was an evening of music & testimony by some great musical artists. The audience was alive and the theater was packed as they listened to Sanctus Real, Tenth Avenue North & Vota. I have worked personally with 89Q and station manager Coy Sawer, and the station. I can't say enough about the ministry they promote for today's youth. 89Q is celebrating 20 years of being on the air and broadcasting positive hits! CONGREGATION CELEBRATES 125th Year

This year Peace Lutheran Church is celebrating its 125th year of ministry and school. Throughout this year there will be different events which commemorate this historical time. DJHones Photography is planning on documenting these events and making the images available on-line for viewing. The image files are also free for downloading for home printing or on your computer.

NEW THINGS COMING THIS YEAR.......

Hello and welcome to my blog. I've never had a blog before but I thought that this would be a great way to keep things up to date with what's going on with the studio by linking it to our web site. We've been offering senior portraits since 2005, although my interest and experience with photography goes back more than 20 years. We currently specialize in on-location photography. We have a fully professional portable studio that I can bring to your home to take formal portraits, but I also love to take fun, artsy, original pictures outdoors or at locations special to my customers.

This year we are ramping up with a host of new ideas to offer our seniors, things I have not seen done by anyone yet. There are so many fun things we plan on doing that can now be done digitally, from your own music videos set with a video show of the images we took during your modeling shoot. We also offer on-line viewing and print ordering through our web site.
